Licorice our new Cow
Curly was lonely & wanted to go next door to sit with cows, so of course we brought a friend 'Licorice' to play with.

Curly the Cow
Curly is our Galloway Cow - he likes to hang out on the treasure hunt. He has a long wonderfully curly white pelt.

Peacocks
'Charlemagne' the princely Peacock. Truly beautiful birds - just stunning. He knows and proudly shows his regal linage.

Ponies
Jake tentatively pats his first pony. Domingo the pony takes it in his stride. Jake arrived a little timid but went home a pro!

Saxony Ducks
Our Saxony ducks won 1st place breed pair at The Sydney Royal Easter Show 2011. Saxony Ducks lay a very pretty aqua egg.

Giant Flemish Rabbits
Meet our GIANT meat rabbits, in a large enclosure these lovely bunnies have found a safe sanctuary at Morvern.

Sweet Mini Horses
Fudge, Toffee, & Chocolate! We can bring a SWEET Miniature Horse to your Cottage’s house paddock to feed, groom & pat.

Ancona Chickens
Ancona's are Julie's favourite breed. The Ancona lays large white eggs. Ear lobes indicate the colour of a breed’s eggs.

Horse Riding is closeby
Riding in Bundanoon, just 2 minutes drive from Morvern Valley. Lessons, or just enjoy a ½ hour led pony ride (approx. $45)

Riding Close to Morvern!
A professional Horse Riding venue right here in Bundanoon. Riding for experienced riders is available - really lovely scenery!

Miniature Mare
Toffee is a miniature mare. She is very pretty – a flaxen chestnut. Her husband Chocolate is a Red Dun Appaloosa.

Alpacas
Oscar - inquisitive and friendly, he has many alpaca friends at Morvern too, Charlie, Reggie, Fluffy Face and Shorty !

Donkeys
Friendly Sunny & Cookie our ‘Dynamic Duo’ protect Morvern Valley’s paddocks by chasing away strange dogs and foxes.

Barnevelders
Heritage Listed, our rooster’s name is ‘Albert’ after one of our favourite guests. He resides at Alecia Cottage with his hens.

Suffolk Sheep
Morvern Valley's flock of Suffolk Sheep. Our sheep have little lambs with them for six months of each year.

Ponies
T.J is easily persuaded to be a friend with carrots and kindness. He loves attention and pats. His full blood brother is Domingo.

Pekins
Fluffy bantams - originating in Japan. Lovely plump chooks. Very tame, they lay tiny eggs. Alecia named our rooster ‘Queenie’!

Babies
Ducklings and Chicks can be seen during breeding season. Usually hatched out in an incubator - late Spring to mid Summer.

Sheep
Baa Baa standing proud with her twin lambies. Suffolks are British - from County Suffolk, bred for their quiet nature & meat.

Donkeys
Donkeys love to meet & greet all guests. They will follow you! Our pair of donkeys are real characters and love a carrot or two.

Salmon Faverolles
A Rare French Breed - Super unusual and very tame. These Hens are good layers have feathered feet, muffs & fluffy beards!

Molly our Angel Goat
Benjamin & Molly our friendly female goat - just outside the cubby house, I’m not sure who is smiling more!

Welsummers
From the Netherlands - Terrific Layers, attractive too. The breed of the iconic rooster Kellogg’s chose for Cornflakes.

Mini Horses
Patting & brushing little Fudge the mini horse is great fun – and no charge. Please call 24 hrs before to set a time.

Araucanas
Originated in Chile, bred by the ancient Indian tribes. Inquisitive, little Lavender coloured chickens who lay a BLUE egg!!!

Sheep
These are our Suffolk twins from 2015 - all grown up now – this year they will have lambs, usually due in Winter.

Flock of Alpacas
The Alpacas are guardian animals for their paddock mates too. Their cuddly teddy bear faces make them firm guest favourites.

Ponies
Lightning Jack is a light dapple grey Welsh Pony who pulls a little sulky in parades. He’ll always come up for a carrot!

Welsh Harlequins
Champions shown in the Sydney Royal Easter Show every year. Come see all our Champion ribbons in Alecia Cottage!

Donkeys
Sunny is a grey ‘Star of Bethlehem’ donkey. Cookie is a Brown donkey – they are in love & walk side-by-side together all day!

Pilgrim Geese
Colour Sexable, Whites are boys - Greys are girls, across the lane from the Original Homestead. They love bread and lettuce.

Alpacas
Charlie – inquisitive in the early morning light. Alpacas are amusing but diligent herd protectors. Keep your pet dogs away!

Mini Stallion
Chocolate is a tiny little stallion – just 28 inches high, and loves lumps of sugar and carrots too. He is married to Toffee.

Hens
Hens are well looked after with scraps & quality laying pellets. Help yourselves to all the eggs they lay from your cottage’s coop.

Giant Flemish Rabbits
Often there are Giant Flemish babies too. Located near the Tyre swings. You are welcome to get involved & feed them.

Ducklings
Most years in Spring we incubate and hatch out ducklings. Morvern’s ducks are well known & go in regional and state shows.
