Each cottage has a double spa - relax & recharge. Add Bubble bath & kids will love bath time after a day of playing Farmer at Morvern Valley. Radox is great too after cycling or long country Bushwalks!

Feed Animals
The Farm Animals always come for a treat. Our ponies will hurry to meet you, they love cut up apples, licorice, carrots & slices of brown bread. Molly our goat loves Weetbix! Alpacas like lettuce, pineapple & celery.

Make Fresh Butter
New Butter Churns in each cottage. Remember to bring 500ml Thickened Cream, It needs to be room temperature, & full fat. Educational & easy to make. 'Step back in time' - make your own farmhouse butter.

Collecting the Eggs
Each Cottage has its own Hen House please only collect eggs from your chicken pen. Get involved with & feed your chickens your kitchen scraps, chickens eat any cooked or fresh leftovers. Bring extra eggs in winter.

Cuddling the Chickens
We handle our chickens here regularly, gently talk to them and stroke them. Chickens are guest favourites. We have hundreds at Morvern Valley. Make friends with a rare heritage listed chicken today!

Feeding the Poultry
The Chickens enjoy being fed. They will LOVE any of your Kitchen Scraps & leftovers too! Or scoop out the pellets from the top of the feed bin inside the chicken coop. Don't feed to other animals they are just for chickens

Nature Rambles
Fabulous red & white toadstools near the creek. Bundanoon streets are full of edible mushrooms too after rain in Autumn. Your Morvern Valley pictorial information book will teach you which ones are edible ones.

Go Cycling…
Cycling is an eco-friendly way to keep fit, explore quiet Bundanoon or ride into the National Park to see the waterfalls and lookouts. You can hire extra or different bikes in the village in walking distance.

Bundanoon Discovery Walks
Bundanoon has 6 designated walks taking in Historic Churches, Early Settler's Homes (like Morvern Valley) & Picturesque Farmland. 3 of these walks walk right past Morvern Valley – perfect ‘walkies’ for dogs.

Shoot some Hoops
While at Morvern Valley get involved in a family ball game. A great fun way to ‘settle old scores’. Improve your child’s hand/eye coordination. Located down near Alecia Cottage and close to the tyre swings.

Paddock Tennis
Perfect for family fun, racquets and balls provided with a multipurpose net. Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis & Football. Get your kids ‘off their electronics’, out into the sun and fresh healthful country air.

Swing Hi and Low!
Down in the paddock under the huge eucalypts we have three tyre swings for family fun... Back to an olden day simple pleasure – that’s what the Morvern Valley Farmstay property is really all about.

Treasure Hunt
Half of Morvern Valley is natural bush with walking trails. Go on a Treasure Hunt with a map, find the 5 little treasure chests and collect the trinkets within. Children MUST be accompanied by adults on this walk.

Morvern is surrounded by Colourful Australian Birds. Parrots, Cockatoos, Kookaburras, Wrens & Rosellas too. Each cottage has a Birding Box with Binoculars & Guide. You will be ‘twitching’ in no time.

After dark head out onto the lane, it is made up of tall eucalypts, tree ferns, vines and grasses shine your torch to see the nocturnal animals & birds become active. 2 types of Possums, Owls, Frogs & more.

Gold Panning
Gold Pans & ‘How To’ down at Creekside. Scoop up water & mud from the bath creek side. Swirl your Pan, ‘Round and Round’, ‘Round and Round’. Gold is heavy and will sink to the bottom for you to find.

Playing in the Creek
Coal Creek passes through Morvern into the National Park, tumbling over Erith Coal Mine Falls. The creek flows all year (unless there's a drought). Kids like to splash & play in the cool water. Picnic next to it.

Another after dark family activity. Each cottage has its own Telescope and Guide - out on the Veranda. The Constellations, the Milky Way, the Moon & Jupiter are easy to see in the smog-free country skies.

Each cottage has a large variety of board games - for all ages. Challenge your family & friends to a different game each night! Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Pictionary, Scattergories and plenty more too.

Farm Games and Toys
Many quality Fisher Price toys & games for babies under 18mths, toddlers and older age groups too. Many are Farm themed to continue the Farmstay experience for children. Lots of Fiction and Non-Fiction Books too.

Prepare the Fire
Collect kindling from under the gum trees, down near the creek you will find plenty & chop up your wood for the evening. One favourite pastimes of kids is helping prepare for the nightly open log fire.
