Very child friendly, high chairs provided and babies welcomed! Jack Style’s main restaurant is in Bowral, and has been the favourite Thai restaurant in the Southern Highlands since the early 1990’s – that’s over 25 years.

In a lovely Tudor style building with lovely architectural features, the Olde world atmosphere and Scottish Clan decor will make your experience memorable. The ladies saloon is a great place for all to enjoy a drink in the Bundanoon Hotel – it has great vintage/ retro country atmosphere.

Bundanoon’s Bistro has been fully renovated. Dinner guests are now welcomed to sit by the fireplace and grand piano before dinner with drinks from the Scots Bar. Terrific place for a pre dinner drink or cocktail.

Indoor and outdoor seating. Ever Evolving food selection – really nice drinks, wraps, frittatas. Great Coffee. Say “Hi” to Byron an ex Sydney hatted restaurant chef, who escaped the city to live our Bundanoon lifestyle.

Artisan breads and loads of Deli meats, cheeses, pates & more. Organic vegetables from local farmers. Perfect place to order an antipasto platter, a picnic hamper, or go in and build your own hamper, alternatively just select from their made gourmet wraps/ frittata’s of that day to pack for your National Park picnic or walk around the country village enjoying the sights.

Picnic Park alongside the railway is a nice spot to eat. You could also eat at Nancy Kingsbury Park on Anzac Parade next to the Police Station, super close to Morvern Valley. Or perhaps drive into the National Park and eat at a stunning lookout!

Feel welcome to walk into the 2 small historical cemeteries for a visit both located at the top of our lane in the village– one is located to the rear of the pretty Anglican Sandstone Church (Look here for the graves of Samuel and Emily Tooth – the original owners of Morvern Valley they were first settlers of Bundanoon which is why MORVERN VALLEY farm is in THE perfect position).

The Paddock Restaurant at the Bundanoon Club  –  DINNER  – Licensed

Bundanoon club is a ‘friendly’ club and welcomes you for a drink. You can play poker machines, meat raffles, enjoy Keno and they regularly hold Bingo nights too. It has a club atmosphere.

Antony Pellegrino another well reknowned Sydney chef opting for Bundanoon for it’s lifestyle, has in 2020 opened ‘The Paddock’ this restaurant offers a delicious array of an ever changing, diverse, seasonal menu e.g. as follows:

  • Grass Fed Beef Eye Medallions with sweet potato puree and asparagus wrapped in pancetta topped with aromatic breadcrumbs and red wine jus – Salmon with caperberries an a bernaise sauce.
  • Harvest Gourmet Vegan Burger, kale pesto, caramellised onions, fried egg, cheese, tomato and fries.
  • Grilled Blue Eye Trevalla Cod Fillet with crushed chat potatoes, roasted capsicum puree & green salsa
  • Salt and Pepper Calamari with roast capsicum, rocket and feta salad with saffron aioli
  • Confit Duck Maryland on cauliflower puree, warm roast pumpkin, raddichio salad with red wine jus

‘Bodega B’  Ristorante – EAT IN & TAKEAWAY / DINNER –  BYO

A wide variety of Gourmet Pizzas, Pastas, Fish, Chicken. Desserts. Eat In or Take Away. Happy atmosphere, very child friendly with paper tablecloths and crayons supplied. Fantastic busy restaurant they also offer pastas, chicken, fish – but ever sooo much more.

But its important to note that there is ever so much more than just pizza and pasta offered here! The owners travel annually to Italy to embrace new recipes and fresh offerings using local produce. They often have regional nights with set menus, encompassing recipes from distinct provinces in Italy.

  • Bottega Hoki – Line caught New Zealand Hoki seasoned and grilled. Served with roast potatoes, wilted spinach, olive tapenade and cherry tomatoes
  • Frittura Di Frutti Di Mare – A mixed plate of squid, calamari, fried hoki and king garlic prawns.
