The multipurpose room's flexibility is great if it rains or for smaller groups with no real need for a third bedroom.
Alecia's bathroom has two showers - one is over the bath - the second is a walk in hobless shower.
Each bedroom has a completely different theme in the cottage - everyone is sure to find one that delights!
The Rose Bedroom has a Queen bed, it is beautifully decorated with an antique chandelier and a muslin & rose theme.

Alecia Cottage
Alecia Cottage is a self-contained Western Red Cedar cottage at Morvern Valley. It comfortably accommodates up to 8 people. It has a ramp for those with toddlers or prams - and is fully certified as accessible. Those who have low mobility or are disabled will be comfortable at Alecia Cottage.
Looking to the Past
Olden day photos show early family life in Bundanoon. Women of the day were actively engaged in functional utilitarian art. Any spare time was spent embroidering doilies, beaded jug covers and decorating coat hangers. Hand stitched patchwork quilts were lovingly and carefully made.
Quiet Country Retreat
The cottages are all lovely and quiet. Morvern does not have train, plane or traffic noise so you are sure to return to your life rested and well. There is a lovely sense of privacy and peace at the property. We are closeby if you need assistance - but leave you alone during your stay.

The cottage has a great open plan feel, where the cook doesn't need to feel left out of the picture! The Living kitchen and dining areas are together in the large main room - and the third bedroom has a huge double width doorway so you can watch the children at play.
1940’s Farm House
Alecia Cottage’s styling is unique, and is themed on a 1940's Australian farm house with lots of French Provincial detail. Antique four poster beds, patchwork quilts, gingham and lace. Each bedroom has a different theme.... excellent quality orthopaedic mattresses ensure a good night’s sleep.
Luxury Spa Bathroom
There is a large brand new bathroom, with retro tessellated floor tiles - relax and indulge in the double spa bath. Alecia Cottage is cosy and warm with a large open log fire with safety screen. Your family are sure to be warm with fluffy doonas, quilts, electric blankets and heaters.
Flexible 3rd Bedroom
The third bedroom is a multipurpose room and has two double futon beds in it bringing the maximum to eight. It has a large area to play with board games, jigsaws, toys and is a great place to quietly read books. There is television reception, and an extensive library of DVDs and Videos.
Ideal for Young Mums
The Morvern Valley property is 25 farm acres made up of half paddocks and half natural bush. Parents favour Alecia cottage as the play area is in front of the verandah - you can relax whilst overlooking the children. Pets are also welcome and love to meet the farm animals.

Your own Chickens!
Alecia Cottage is nice and close to all the farm animals and has its own chicken coop with Silver Spangled Hamburg chooks, New Hampshire hens and Welsh Harlequin Ducks. Collect lovely fresh eggs and cook them up on your own private hooded BBQ or on the Original Metters Kooka stove.
Functional Kitchen
The kitchen features a fabulous Original Metter’s Kooka Stove from the 1940's. The kitchen is well equipped with all your modern needs too. Fridge and freezer, stove top, small oven, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, kettle, all the pots, pans, glassware, crockery and cutlery you will need.
Step Back In Time
A genuine 1940’s kitchen cupboard in the large main room – sitting on top is an old butter churn, lots of collectable enamelware and kitchenalia. Pickles and preserves, teapots with cosies and old canisters all set the stage for a memorable farm holiday for you and your family.
